Karen Song is a Chinese-born and Narrm/Melbourne-based photographer. She discovered her passion for photography and innate talent for portrait photography while she was studying BA in finance at the University of Technology Sydney. And that passion led her to a Master of Photography at RMIT University.

Karen’s creative vision is drawn from the reflection on life and influenced by renowned photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Cho Gi-Seok, Zhong Lin, Mary Ellen Mark, Diane Arbus, Irving Pen Robert Mapplethorpe, who have continued to push the boundary of photography, and reflect their unique gaze on humanity. Her work reflects her thinking of life and how she perceives the world.
